The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG) – 2025 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.

As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. The NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses as followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies. Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.

NTA has also asked candidates to update their Aadhaar Card details before the NEET 2025 application process begins to avoid any mismatch of information. Clarifying this NTA has stated, “Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center.” 

To access and fill the NEET application form 2025, candidates will have to visit the official website of the exam to register and apply for NEET 2025 by entering the mandatory details, uploading documents and paying the application fee. After the completion of the application process, NTA will provide an application correction window wherein candidates can edit information submitted by them or change the uploaded files of images, signatures, thumb impressions, documents, etc.
